Who has acupuncture?
Many people come to acupuncture for help with specific symptoms or conditions, and some because they simply feel generally unwell. Others choose acupuncture to enhance their feeling of wellbeing. Acupuncture is considered suitable for all ages, including babies and children. It can also be used alongside conventional medicine.

Acupressure / Zero Balancing (Peter)

An alternative way of accessing the Chi energy for health and wellbeing is the deeply relaxing technique of acupressure. The specific acupressure technique Peter uses (Zero Balancing) was developed by Dr Fritz Smith who became a highly skilled osteopath and master acupuncturist. Acupressure works with Chi energy (life force) in the same way as acupuncture. Tensions and misalignments in the body structure block our natural vitality and well being. Through gentle finger pressure and held stretches Zero Balancing invites the release of tensions accumulated in the deep structures of the body. Massage (Peter)

This is a skill Peter has trained in and developed over many years on a number of formal courses. Peter applies safe massage techniques which help relieve pain, stress and tension, allowing the body’s own healing process to function more effectively.
